I'm standing on the very edge of progress friends. I'm thinking of buying a Kindle but all the while feeling as if I'm betraying the world of Read Aloud. Oh how many sweet memories I have reading to our children before bed or nap time. They could select two or three stories and to this day I'm sure we could recite them word for word. Then, many years after naptime they would use the very same books to play library with. Can anyone name the girl who visited those sweet Baby Animals on the Farm?
Oh and then we had Martha. What a great interactive book that was. We all wanted to live in her house! Then there were the Eloise Wilkin books and the Little House Series and...So you can see why I am standing on the edge can't you? Books have been my best friend when there wasn't "one with skin" to be found.
