We have arrived at what is a "Sweet Compromise". It makes me very nervous to go to the new house during reconstruction. The mess and disorder is enough to send me into turmoil. I have agreed to stay away during the worst of it and concentrate on the finishing touches. Luckily for me, Susan Branch is coming out with a new line of fabric. (Thank you Susan, just in time !)
For those of you who aren't "into" fabric--we were at Home Depot today and I can assure you, there are many "tool time" choices to suit your fancy. Thus, the sweet compromise.
We can't wait for you to come visit us in our new home. We are making all the choices with YOU in mind. We want you to feel comfortable and at home in our new abode. Take your shoes off, watch T.V., have a cup of coffee.
See you there!

Ooh, cute fabric! The toile de Jouy is my favorite.
With all that is going on, it is very humbling for me to see all that we are doing and say that the Lord is so gracious to me and my family. Who would have thought 3yrs. ago that we as a family would be given the opportunity to gut a home and put it back together the way we have only dreamnt about. I love how you are putting the new home together in your mind; paint colors, light fixtures, vanity sets, the list goes on and on. Thanks for praying in help, our son Chris came up and worked with me mudding walls and pulling up old floors. Our son-in-law, Phil has come over and just inspired me to do what I never thought I was able to do. As you can see the Lords hand is in all this that is being done.
Both of you are amazing! The house will be beautiful when finished.
Dad told me that you are putting in bamboo flooring-how wonderful.
