We went to the Dickens Christmas Faire in Lakeport tonight. It is supposed to be a Christmas market from times gone by but it has become commercialized (as everything else has). Anyway, we had a great time. We shopped at the booths, had giant hot dogs for dinner and kettle corn for dessert. We watched the parade, shopped a little more at the booths and arrived home happy. It doesn't take much to make us happy. In contrast, we spent the day cleaning out the gutters, washing down the yard and bagging up leaves. All in all, it was a good day.

Oh, I remember going to this with the boys and Phil 2 years ago. We left the girls with Corinne and Phyllis because they were only 1 week old and it was very cold out (we only went for about an hour). And last year we went to the parade with you guys.
That is a very special memory for me!
