We had our first Booster Club meeting this evening. Our mascot is the Eagle. Just look at all these eagles gathered together. There are more birds here than there were parents gathered for the meeting!
Our focus is our teachers. We want to feed them, give them breaks, encourage them in the day-to-day routine, celebrate them in the life altering events (babies are on their way in the spring summer) and just generally love them. Trouble is...only two parents showed up for the first meeting! That's o.k. We will continue with our plan to honor our teachers. We have all kinds of things planned to let our teachers know we appreciate them!

Do you want some advice from a previous teacher who felt appreciated by some and not by others? It doesn't matter what you give them if your heart's not in it!
One of the meanest moms (she really didn't like me) gave me little gifts and baked for me more than any mother did, but she was always up in the office complaining about me. Go figure!
