My students in the After School Program planted sunflower seeds right before Easter. Now they are blooming and showing their beauty. What a joy it is to plant a simple seed and see such a beautiful flower come from it! The kids are amazed at this whole process :-)
I think, what amazes me most, is their excitement when they see a simple seed grow into something they can recognize!
This very activity is what keeps me involved with children. It doesn't matter how simple the activity~~they are excited with the outcome!
